Writing Applications for Win7

Does your application run for a user if they do not have administrator rights? Why not?

Windows has been plagued since the beginning of (Microsoft) time by the default configuration of users having Local Admin rights. Redmond is finally trying to do something about it but they need our help.

Is your application “Win7 Compatible”? Having a hard time selling your application to corporate IT departments because of their security concerns?  Are User Account Control prompts driving your users nuts when they use your app?

We will discuss the pitfalls of writing your application to require administrative rights and how to avoid those mistakes.  Your customers will be thrilled to run your application with ease.
