Webcast – IT for Devs: Top 10 IT Pro Skills You Need to Know

I’m developing a new talk called IT for Developers: Top 10 IT Pro Skills You Need to Know.  I want your feedback.  What I feel like makes my talks great is I take the discussions I have when I give the presentations and re-incorporate them back into the talk.  Normally this takes months as the opportunities present themselves to speak on the topic.  I want to jump start that process for this talk.

If your a developer or an IT Pro I want you to tune into a webcast this Friday or Monday and give me your feedback.  From developers I need to know if the content is useful, what other questions did you have, does this help you understand IT Pro topics better.  From IT Pros I want to know what I’m missing, what needs to be emphasized more, what are some good examples for the skills I’m trying to communicate.

Speaker Bio

Steve Evans is the CEO of Serk (http://serktools.com), an IT infrastructure consulting company. With 10 years of enterprise IT experience he helps companies both large and small streamline their IT operations.

Steve also has a background as a developer. He bridges the world between Developers and IT Pros and frequently speaks at Code Camps and User Groups. He teaches developers all they need to know about operating systems, directories, and servers, oh my.

When not doing something related to work he has a wife that is a full time student, two young daughters, a house addition they are building themselves, and a plethora of pets.
